The Carnival Destiny first sailed in
November 1996. It is the only ship in its class. The ship has been
refurbished several times with the last time being in September 2008.
The latest renovations included a City Sports Park with a Mini Golf Course,
270-square foot LED Seaside Theatre installed on Lido Deck, and the addition
of the Circle "C' club. The ship features a two-tier showroom, the Palladium Lounge, where shows are held nightly. The ship also features two formal dining rooms, each with 2 dining times. The Universe dining room is in the Aft (rear). The Galaxy dining room is mid-ship. Seatings are at 6:00 and 8:15. This class does not have a Steakhouse.

The Destiny sailings include 4 and 5 night cruises out of Miami Florida doing both Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries
